The world’s best airports have been revealed by Skytrax for 2017 and Singapore Changi Airport has taken the top spot for the fifth consecutive year.
Singapore’s beautiful airport, which features a free cinema, an orchid gardens and massive slide, was named the number one airport by passengers in the World Airport Awards, the ‘Oscars of the aviation industry’.

The Asian airport treats passengers to an array of leisure and entertainment facilities that are unique, offering travellers an enjoyable and relaxing travel experience.
Tokyo International Airport (Haneda) was named the world’s second best airport, followed by Incheon International Airport and Munich Airport.
Only one UK airport featured in the top ten list – Heathrow Airport, which came ninth. Heathrow was also named the best airport for shopping.
Hong Kong International Airport received the award for best airport dining, while Tokyo Haneda Airport was praised as the world’s cleanest airport. Of the world’s airport hotels, Crowne Plaza Changi Airport was crowned the best and Taiwan Taoyuan was voted the airport with the best staff.The world’s top ten airports of 2017 list was based on a survey of airline customers from around the world.
