The Journal's community calendar belongs to the country it covers. Below are the public meetings anyone can follow, and below them is the form where organisers can tell us about theirs. Listings are free; featured placement is paid and always labeled as such.
Civic life, in public
These bodies publish their meetings, agendas and records in advance. The links below go to the official sources; the Journal keeps no stale dates on this page.
The UK Parliament
The House of Commons and the House of Lords publish their daily business, the progress of bills, and committee evidence sessions in advance.
The London Assembly
London's elected Assembly scrutinises the Mayor. Its meetings, agendas, reports and minutes, and those of its committees, are published through the Greater London Authority's meetings portal.
The Scottish Parliament
Holyrood publishes chamber business, committee meetings and bills, with a weekly what's-on covering the current sitting week.
